Fly Me to the Moon
A downloadable game for Windows
Welcome, traveler, to Fly Me To The Moon!
In this game, you’ll tackle dozens of unique fish from five different galaxies, with only your fishing rod, notebook, and innate fishin' gumption.
How to Play:
Using your mouse, click and drag to rotate the sky, and click a galaxy to travel.
Each constellation you complete will add that fish to the pond in that galaxy, shown by the ripples that now appear in the stars. Now, you can catch fish in this galaxy!
Press F to equip your fishing rod. With the fishing rod equipped, click below the horizon to cast a fly into the pond. Watch the ripples approach your line, and be ready to reel in your catch!
When you get a bite, click and drag the mouse to the right to reel in your catch.
You can release tension in the line by dragging to the left, or by releasing the mouse entirely.
Pay attention to the sound and color of the fishing line to know if you're pulling too hard. Be careful not to snap the line!
Each constellation you complete will unlock the corresponding fish image in your notebook, and each fish you catch will unlock its lore text.
Each fish has a unique name, story, and role in the myth of each galaxy. The information is in an inscrutable text, which is translated when the fish is caught.
Keep the line from getting too tight, and be patient. If you are persistent, the fish will eventually tire out and you will be able to reel it in completely.
After you catch all of the fish within a galaxy, the entire myth of that galaxy will reveal itself.
So, get ready to solve cosmic puzzles, catch otherworldly fish, and fill the universe with color in this chill, astral fishing game!
What are you waiting for, traveler? Let’s get fishin’!
